rock-ramp fishway
a structure allowing fish to pass a barrier. Large rocks and timbers are used to build pools and small falls that mimic natural structures. This fishway only works over short distances because of the length of the channel needed for the ladder. See also pool-and-weir ladder, vertical slot fish passage and DeNiel fishway
